Red Eye Update

I know, its been a while for Red Eye updates. There should be some coming soon. We had several hiccups in getting together the final media for the project. However, have faith, it is coming. We've gots tons of pics and video, as well as a few more goodies not yet on the site.

Red Eye 1.2 went off very well. Here are the progress updates. Shot vids, took measurements, took pics of all finished projects, which is, basically, everything. So pics, vids, etc. of the 1/2 Blocked Sniper, Pneu-mag, SpyderMag, Spimmy, and MQ'ed Rainmaker. We are getting around to getting it all organized and written up, still. Takes a lot of time.

If anyone has a last minute t-shirt order, get that to me ASAP and I can get you in on the first order.

Here's the first video we have posted/hosted - the MQ'd Rainmaker. Note* This was done with co2 and can still be tuned for higher speeds. Video is done with both fanning and some reasonably fast walking.

Red Eye 1.2 is coming up this weekend. We are looking to start Saturday morning and go through Sunday evening. Exact times will be announced shortly.

Be sure to get in on your t-shirt pre-order. If you don't get one now, there is no guarantee of another run. Deadline for the pre-order is 2/24.

Check out the Pneumag page. I updated it with additional notes. Look for the "Nun Notes*" sections. Since I don't have access to our pics at the moment, I wasn't able to update with more descriptions. Over the weekend of Feb 25-26, I will get some more specific measurements of pieces we used, etc. Also, more pics. However, the tech blogs on markers are being updated to include our thoughts, design process, challenges, and solutions. Take another look at the PneuMag page - let us know if you have questions. Next up, 1/2 block sniper notes.

Or Claudio's PC. Something about is wife using the computer and viruses or something similar...Anyway, more problems getting the pics of the event from his PC. My apologies to everyone eagerly awaiting those. Don't worry, I also am eagerly awaiting seeing the pics, as I have only seen a limited number of them.

Tech write-ups will have significant progress made this weekend. I will finally have time. I know many of you want to see those.

I don't know about you all, but this Red Eye thing has really gotten my creative juices flowing. I've got ideas whirring in my head. If only for time and money...Speaking of ideas, if you have any suggestions for Red Eye 2.0 regarding markers you would like to see, e-mail me @ clcotner@hotmail.com.

Red Eye 1.2 Announced

Hey Loyal Red Eye fans. Red Eye 1.2 has a tentative date scheduled. It looks like we will do a one day web cast/chat on February 25-26. We will be doing testing, tuning, making another pneumag frame, milling a few things, and anodizing a few parts. We want to get pics and video of the completed markers. Check us out.

The computer with the pics is sorted out. So, within the next day or so, we should have a plethora of pics from the event.

Back again. Pic posting has NOT gone as well as expected. The PC where the pics are stored is having issues. It will be resolved soon, but has caused delays. Sorry about that. However, some of the tech write-ups on what we did will be up over the weekend.

As of now, we are considering plans for the future. Trying to figure out guns we might want to do next. Thinking of doing another MQ conversion, some sort of stacked tube electro kinda thing (Bushy?) Or maybe a 3 tube - Exacal or Maybe Shoebox Shocker - with some very tricky things done. Fast & light Shoebox anyone?
