Rainmaker Disassembly Guide

Tools:
1. Yourself
2. Allen keys: 3/32, 7/64, 1/8 and 9/64
3. Phillips head screw driver
4. Adjustable wrench
5. Paintball marker oil
6. Teflon tape(for your fittings)
7. Some sort of tool to remove orings
8. Misc. RM parts
9. And some needle nosed pliers(remove lp hose from fittings)

Step one: remove air source, barrel, drop-forward or bottom line, Shroud and bolt cover. Remove the 4 hex screws that attach the upper receiver to the lower receiver with a 3/32 sized allen key.

Two screw are located near the end of the gun, under the bolt cover,
the other two are located towards the front of the gun, in front of the vertical feed.

Step two: Remove upper receiver from lower receiver and remove the bolt link(might need to use pliers). Clean off any debris, oil, or paint that might be there.

Step three: Remove the gripframe from the lower receiver. Using the7/64 sized allen key, unscrew the back hex screw near the back of the gun. Using the Phillips head screw driver, remove the screw towards the front of the gun.

Step four: Separate the gripframe from the lower receiver, and clean off any debris, oil or paint that might be there.

Step five: Remove the backblock, or reg assembly by using the 9/64 allen key.

The spring, and cupseal should fall out, if they don’t, use the pliers to remove them. Inspect the cupseal for any uncommon wear. Make sure you oil the cupseal before you put it back in.

Step six: Using the same 9/64 allen key, remove the hex screw that is above where the phillips head screw was.

Step seven: After taking the hex screw all of the way out, remove the ram from the body. You might need to use a strap wrench and twist while pulling to get the ram out. Do not use the elbows, or brass exhaust fittings as leverage!. Hopefully your internals will not be nasty and rusty from playing in the rain and not cleaning them for 3 weeks

Step eight: Take a small allen key, or anything that is pretty small, and release the sear on the hammer. Make sure you push the hammer at the same time so you can remove the hammer.

Step nine: Take a squeegee or anything of that sort and clean out the inside.

Step ten: Clean off the internals with a rag and apply oil. I like to use an old tooth brush to clean off the internals, and then apply oil with the tooth brush and bush it on.

Step eleven: Now, remove the grips from your gripframe, either using a phillips head screw driver, or allen key(whatever screws hold your grips on)

Step twelve: Clean off any dirt, or paint that might be under the grips, and remove the left side panel of the gripframe by removing the two screws, one near the bottom of the gripframe, and one near the top with a phillips head screw driver.

Step thirteen: After you are done messing around with the gripframe, make sure you attack a battery to the gun to make sure you didn’t pinch any wires.

Step fourteen: To reassemble, just follow the steps backwards. Avoid pinching any hoses, or wires while attaching the gripframe to the lower receiver.
